Irish whiskey gifts – the perfect stocking-filler this Christmas

Irish whiskey gifts – the perfect stocking-filler this Christmas

Personalised bottles, nosing glasses, cufflinks and luxury hampers are just some of the stocking-fillers created by Irish whiskey brands in the run-up to Christmas this year.

Drinks Ireland|Irish Whiskey is today launching its ‘Made in Ireland, Made for Gifting’ campaign, encouraging consumers to support homegrown Irish whiskey brands when shopping this Christmas. The campaign will highlight the range of gifts on offer, whether for whiskey novices or connoisseurs.

Some of the gifts on sale from Irish whiskey distilleries include:

  • A premium hamper from Connacht Whiskey Distillery with locally sourced produce from Ballina, artisan chocolates, a nosing glass, Connacht Whiskey stamped cufflinks, and Spade & Bushel 14-Year-Old Sweet Marsala Finish Irish Whiskey.
  • A personalised bottle of whiskey from Kilbeggan distillery, delivered in a luxury gift box.
  • A #SupportLocal hamper from Teeling Distillery, containing Teeling Distillery rooftop honey, whiskey barrel aged chocolate, whiskey smoked sea salt, as well as Distillery Exclusive Chinkapin Oak Whiskey and some extra Teeling goodies.
  • Glendalough Pot Still Irish Whiskey finished in a cask using 140-year-old trees from the oak forests in the Wicklow mountains.
  • Dark Silkie Irish Whiskey by Sliabh Liag Distillery, inspired by the legends of the Donegal coast and the whiskeys made there in days gone by.

William Lavelle, Head of Drinks Ireland|Irish Whiskey, said: “Irish whiskey can only be made in Ireland – so this Christmas you can support Irish businesses and pick-up the perfect pressie by choosing an Irish whiskey gift.

“Today, we’ve published a helpful gift guide for consumers, which has something for everyone – from fun bar accessories such as nosing glasses and personalised bottles, to gift boxes of mature blends for the more experienced whiskey fan.”
