Ten Square in administration

Ten Square, the boutique hotel in the centre of Belfast, has gone into administration.

Administrators EY, who have been appointed to the 23-bedroom venue, told the BBC:

“The hotel will continue to operate business as usual. All events booked with the hotel will go ahead and deposits paid will be honoured.”

Ten Square was opened at Donegall Square South 14 years ago. In 2008, it was bought by property developer, John Miskelly.

The last set of accounts lodged for the hotel for the year ending March 2013 showed a loss of £161,000 on turnover of £3.6m. The year before had shown a profit of £269,000 on a turnover of £6.1m.
