The Perch bar in Belfast has reopened after a seven-month redevelopment project came to a close.

Since the start of the year the popular rooftop cocktail on Franklin Street has been closed for extensive refurbishment.

It finally reopened on Friday, August 5, following weeks of teases on Instagram and Facebook.

The bar’s team broke the news on Wednesday night through their social media pages.

They said: “Ok ok…we think you’ve suffered enough!

“So we had a little face lift. Recovery wasn’t too bad as we came up with a brand new cocktail list with a few of our signatures.

“We could keep teasing you but you’ll have to come see for yourself. “

The Perch sits five floors high on top of the historic Linenhouse Building.

Know for its extensive cocktail list and post work pizzas, it has become a staple on the Belfast bar scene and one of the most popular summer drinks venues in the city.
