Leaping Hound celebrates official opening at Roe Valley Resort

More than 100 guests gathered to celebrate new bar and dining destination

More than 100 guests gathered at Roe Valley Resort on Thursday 10 September to celebrate the official opening of Leaping Hound, the resort’s new bar and dining destination inspired by the legendary ‘Dog’s Leap’, from which Limavady takes its name.

The evening brought together more than 100 guests, including local businesses, tourism representatives, council representatives and friends of the resort, for an evening of food, drinks and live entertainment. Among those attending was Councillor Dawn Huggins, Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, who joined guests to celebrate the official opening of the new venue.

Located at the heart of Roe Valley Resort, Leaping Hound offers a relaxed setting for everything from casual lunches and afternoon drinks to lively evenings with family and friends. The new bar features a carefully curated food and drinks offering, alongside regular live music at weekends.

The opening event marks another milestone in the resort’s ongoing £20 million transformation, which has already seen the introduction of a number of new family, leisure and dining experiences, including a Helter Skelter, adventure playground, arcade, pool slides, new two-storey soft play centre and Fratelli Italian restaurant.

The latest additions form part of Roe Valley Resort’s ongoing transformation, with further developments planned across the estate as Galgorm Collection continues its investment in the resort and the wider North West.
