Golden couple pop into Silver Street

Courteney Cox and boyfriend Johnny McDaid have been spotted in an Northern Ireland restaurant.

The Friends star and Snow Patrol member Johnny, who is from Co Derry, visited Silver Street in the city at the start of January and posed with staff members.

Posting on Instagram, the restaurant said: “Special Visitors today in Silver Street, the staff had a lovely time meeting Courtney Cox & Johnny McDaid.”

They were also seen at The Boathouse Restaurant in Co Donegal with Johnny’s family the day before

The couple is believed to have then rang in the New Year close to Johnny’s home in Derry, with Courteney sharing a photo of her and Johnny sharing a New Year’s kiss at midnight alongside the caption “Happy GMT New Year!”

It features snaps of the engaged pair, with singer Ed Sheeran also featuring singing a short version of ‘Shape of You’ about the couple.

Courteney said: “10 years ago, This guy (Ed) introduced me to this guy (Johnny).”
