Ballygally refurb nears completion

The Hastings Hotel Group has announced that the doors of the four-star hotel will open again on April 6.

The re-vamped hotel will have 18 new ‘coastal view’ bedrooms including six family rooms, making it one of the largest hotels on the causeway coastal route with 54 bedrooms.

The River Room has been replaced by the brand new Kintyre Ballroom which will now accommodate up to 250 people and offer stunning views over the castle gardens and coastline all the way to the Mull of Kintyre.

Sir William Hastings, chairman of Hastings Hotels said recently that he was very happy with the refurbishment of Ballygally Castle, and added:

“A new bedroom wing has been constructed boasting 18 new coastal deluxe rooms and when complete, they will offer breathtaking views of Ballygally Bay, the Antrim Coast and the Mull of Kintyre. And with the Giro d’Italia only months away, we’re delighted that Ballygally Castle will be part of the action as the route passes the hotel,” Sir William added.
