The £1.1M renovation programme has included a brand-new kitchen which will allow our chefs to build on our dedication to local provenance and develop our offering in-line with the growing market for food tourism. We are very passionate about food and have just launched our new seasonal menus in all of the hotel’s dining options. As part of the kitchen investment, we have also modernised our team member areas to ensure a harmonious working environment and a nice space for them to relax during their breaks.”

“Also included in the investment programme are 16 of our luxurious bedrooms, the Lighthouse Lounge and the Drawing Room as we strive to ensure our guests receive a first-class service every time.

“It’s been a busy 12 months with a 10 per cent growth in our overall business across the Resort and we are currently enjoying a very busy summer period with excellent forecasted bookings for the remainder of the year. We are confident that the award-winning Slieve Donard Resort & Spa will continue to be a major draw for the local tourism industry and this investment will allow us to facilitate the growing markets of leisure and business visitors while providing the very best of the famous Northern Ireland hospitality,” Michael concluded.
