Slabz picks Coleraine for third venue
Slabz is adding another Northern Ireland stop to its growing sandwich empire, confirming a third location in Coleraine.
The business first made waves after launching in Portstewart in 2024, where its American deli-inspired sandwiches helped it build a loyal following and frequent queues. It then broadened its reach with an expansion into Belfast last year. Now, the team says work has started on a new site that’s intended to be larger in scale.
“New year, new… Slabz!? Yes, that’s right,” the shop posted, telling customers that progress is already underway: “Work is fully underway at our 3rd location… to make this bigger & better.”
They also thanked customers who backed the brand through its recent growth. “Grateful for the support we’ve had across our Portstewart & Belfast stores,” they wrote, adding: “We cannot wait to share this with you all.”
With fitting-out continuing, Slabz has begun recruiting for the new branch as the opening moves closer. The announcement ended with a familiar rallying cry: “Here’s to making sandwiches great again.”
