Sculpture fair brings Art and Soul to Culloden

Northern Ireland’s first major post-lockdown art fair kicks off this weekend in the grounds of the five-star Culloden Estate and Spa.

Featuring the largest collection of sculpture to be displayed on the island of Ireland, Art and Soul – The Holywood International Art and Sculpture Fair, runs from June 26 until July 18 in conjunction with Gormleys Fine Art.

Supported by Ards and North Down Borough Council, the fair features 125 sculptures situated both in the 12 acres of landscaped grounds which stretch down towards the shores of Belfast Lough, and the interiors of the Culloden Estate and Spa.

“Art and Soul will give art lovers a unique opportunity to view these incredible pieces of work in the beautiful surroundings of the Culloden Estate and Spa,” said Howard Hastings, Managing Director of Hastings Hotels.

“We have worked closely with Gormleys Fine Art for many months in organising the exhibition and I am confident that visitors will truly appreciate the collection of work that has been put together.”

The Fair is Gormleys Fine Art’s sixth major outdoor exhibition, and will also include an entire room of work by Andy Warhol as well as displays by World-renowned artists such as Dali, Banksy, Picasso, Damien Hirst and Roy Lichtenstein.

Guided tours around the installations are available at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm every day and the Culloden Estate is offering special Art and Soul breaks with luxurious overnight accommodation, full Irish breakfast and entry into the exhibition from only £280 per room.

There will also be an Art and Soul Afternoon Tea with a curated art tour of the exhibits for £50 per person and to top it all there will be private dining opportunities in the Warhol Room each evening.
