Ringland Group opens unique group hotel room in former bar

Belfast has a bold new stay option with a hotel room for up to 18 guests built inside a converted bar and Chinese takeaway.

Belfast’s hospitality scene has gained a striking new addition as The Ringland Group unveils its latest project, a group hotel room designed to host up to 18 guests, blending private comfort with the energy of a night out.

The project sits inside Southside Social and reflects The Ringland Group’s approach to reimagining hospitality spaces. Known for popular venues such as Town Square, Amelia Hall and The Flint Hotel, the group has built a reputation for creating venues that feel social, effortless and worth travelling to.

The new room features six double beds and three bunks, using 60 percent of the former bar’s seating area to create a shared environment. The former Chinese takeaway frontage has been transformed into a karaoke lounge and photo spot, a playful nod to the building’s history and a ready-made backdrop for group celebrations.

Guests can take advantage of pre-ordered kegs or drinks packages to run their own bar or enjoy full food and drink service from Town Square next door.

Early response has been strong, with bookings already coming from across the UK and internationally.

“Our goal was to create a space that goes beyond a hotel stay, giving groups the chance to connect and celebrate together. There really isn’t anything like it in Belfast. It is the ultimate party base for hens, stags and big occasions. The early response has been incredible, and we are proud to see people travelling internationally just to experience it.” said Group Development Manager Thomas Camblin.

With its mix of comfort, entertainment and social atmosphere, the new group room is positioned to become a sought-after destination for parties, reunions and milestone events in Belfast.
