Burger favourite leaves city centre location

Tribal Burger has quit one of its current locations in Belfast city centre and has urged fans to “watch this space for exciting news”.

The restaurant had been operating at its current location in Callender Street for five years.

Founded by Paul Catterson and his wife Elaine in 2017, the outfit also has a location at Botanic Avenue.

In a post on social media, Tribal Burger said: “After 5 fantastic years of flipping burgs on Callender Street in Belfast City Centre, this Sunday will be the final day.

“We’re working on a brand new Tribal location, so it’s not really goodbye. Plus, the OG site on Botanic Avenue isn’t going anywhere – it’s still open 7 days a week.

“A big thank you to all our incredible Callender Street customers. We’re going to really miss you.

“Watch this space for exciting news on Callender St.”

It marks the latest development in Callender Street’s eating options in 2024, after popular Belfast Cuban restaurant Cuban Sandwich Factory set up their new location in the street.

Offering classic Cuban sandwiches with a variety of fillings including slow roast pork shoulder, jerk chicken and beef mince, the restaurant said their new location offers “an authentic Cuban Sandwich in with a Cuban atmosphere”.
