BrewDog set to launch first pub this Friday
BrewDog, the renowned Scottish craft beer brand, is gearing up to make its debut in Northern Ireland this Friday, November 22.
The brand’s much-anticipated pub will open its doors at noon in Belfast’s state-of-the-art Grand Central Station.
Positioned on the mezzanine level of the newly developed £340 million transport hub, the BrewDog venue will be operated by SSP Group, a leading travel retail and hospitality provider. This marks an exciting expansion for the group, which already manages seven outlets at Belfast International Airport. Alongside the BrewDog pub, SSP is also introducing a Starbucks café and a new M&S Food store at the bustling station.
The M&S Food outlet will welcome its first customers at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20, operating daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. This addition, along with the BrewDog launch, represents significant progress in the phased opening of Grand Central Station, which began in September.
SSP has confirmed that the BrewDog pub will feature a diverse menu catering to travelers and locals alike. Diners can enjoy breakfast offerings, classic burgers, and chicken wings throughout the day. To celebrate its opening, the pub is offering an exciting giveaway: the first 50 patrons to step through the doors on Friday will have a chance to win free BrewDog beer for an entire year.
The addition of BrewDog complements the first wave of hospitality operators establishing themselves at Grand Central Station, joining the likes of Pret A Manger, which is already serving customers. This development signals a new era for Belfast’s public transport hub, blending modern infrastructure with dynamic food and drink options.
BrewDog’s arrival in Northern Ireland underscores the brand’s growing presence in key markets across the UK and beyond. Known for its bold marketing and distinctive beers, the company is poised to bring a unique and energetic atmosphere to Belfast’s newest landmark.
