Black Sheep Coffee set to open second location
UK-based coffee chain Black Sheep Coffee is preparing to open its second store in Belfast, with branding now visible on a property on Ann Street, located near Victoria Square Shopping Centre.
The chain, which launched its first Belfast location earlier this year, saw tremendous success with its opening at the Pearl Assurance Building beside City Hall in February. The debut store attracted large crowds, helped by a £1 coffee promotion on opening day. With the second location now confirmed, it’s expected to draw a similarly enthusiastic crowd.
The new site in Belfast will be operated by Black Sheep Coffee-Ireland, a subsidiary of Bannon and Bannon Property Holdings, a well-established player in Northern Ireland’s hospitality sector. The company is behind several notable venues, including Common Market and 3Sheets in Belfast.
Though the windows of the new location feature “coming soon” signage, no specific opening date has been announced.
Founded in 2013 in London, Black Sheep Coffee has grown rapidly, now operating over 100 locations worldwide, including in the UK, US, and Dubai. Known for its high-quality Robusta coffee, Norwegian waffles, and unique beverages like functional lattes and matcha drinks, Black Sheep has earned a loyal following among coffee enthusiasts.
