Black Sheep Coffee announces opening date for second location

London based coffee brand Black Sheep Coffee has confirmed the opening date for its second Belfast city centre café, set to welcome customers on November 4 at Ann Street.

The launch follows the success of its debut Northern Ireland outlet beside Belfast City Hall, which drew large crowds when it opened earlier this year.

Known for its speciality grade Robusta coffee, a rarity in the UK, the new store will feature the brand’s signature menu of Norwegian waffles, matcha lattes, all day breakfasts, and artisan pastries. Customers can also expect the brand’s trademark focus on sustainably sourced beans and distinctive flavour profiles.

The expansion is led by Black Sheep Coffee Ireland, operated by Bannon and Bannon Property Holdings, the team behind well known Belfast venues such as Common Market and 3Sheets.

The company has invested around £1 million in developing the brand across Ireland, creating new local jobs and strengthening its hospitality portfolio.

Founded in 2013, Black Sheep Coffee now runs more than 100 stores worldwide, including locations in London, the US, and Dubai. The Belfast expansion marks the next step in a wider Irish growth strategy, with further openings planned for summer 2025.
