New townhouse hotel ready to open its doors

Belfast is set to get a new townhouse hotel when indoor hospitality returns.

With a provisional reopening date for hotels of May 24,  Number 11, on Belfast’s Malone Road hopes to be welcoming guests in the very near future.

The Victorian property in the Malone Road area sits opposite Queen’s University’s Computer Science Building and has been sympathetically renovated to retain many original features within a modern setting.

It is the first Warren Collection hotel, and co-founder Mark Docherty said: “We are delighted to be opening our first property. Number 11 in Belfast is the perfect starting point in our journey.

The bedrooms boast a modern look

“Despite the challenges that global tourism is going through due to the pandemic, Belfast is, and will continue to be, a great destination for both domestic and international tourists alike.”

The company has already outlined ambitious plans to open six further locations in the next 12 months including another in Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh and Dubai.

Number 11 boasts 12 bedrooms with contemporary en-suite shower rooms, a bright lounge area and a modern self-service tea room.

Continental breakfast is included in stays

David Warren, co-founder, added “I’m very excited to be opening our first hotel in my home town of Belfast- an exciting new venture to accommodate the ever growing demands of tourism and corporates alike.

‘Different and unique’

“I wanted to create something a little bit different and unique while maintaining a great customer experience and a superb quality product, and with the help of Mark, we’ve been able to achieve this and  I couldn’t be happier.
“We’re also looking forward to announcing the addition of several more properties in different locations across Northern Ireland and the UK in the next months and year ahead, creating more jobs and investment for our economy.”
