LCN Awards 2015 set for launch
Following the success of this year’s Licensed & Catering News Awards – which took place at the Europa Hotel in June – we are poised to release details of the 2015 event.
Next month’s LCN will feature details of the revised categories for next year’s event and your first opportunity to submit an entry and perhaps, be among the winners at our next gala awards evening.
There were more than 400 guests, finalists and winners present in Belfast for the 2014 Awards, which were widely acknowledged to have been the most successful in the event’s five-year history.
And speaking to LCN this month, organiser, Bill Penton promised that the 2015 competition would be even bigger and more exciting than its predecessor:
“We’ve always aimed to organise the best and most inclusive awards event for the hospitality industry in Northern Ireland, but I have to say that even I was surprised by just how enthusiastic and involved the trade was in last year’s competition, it was a really humbling and heartening experience,” he added.
“I’m genuinely excited about the 2015 event and really looking forward to seeing the calibre of the competitors, which is always excellent. You can look forward to a streamlined experience in 2015 – we’ll be revising and modernising the list of categories – and as always, there are going to be surprises ahead in terms of entertainment and personalities involved. It’s going to be another great night out.”
As usual, the LCN Awards are free to enter and once again, all competitors will be rigorously and independently assessed by our partners at Spotcheck NI.
