easyHotel opens first Irish outlet in Belfast

The first easyHotel guest accommodation outlet in Ireland has officially opened its doors to the public. Located on Howard Street, Belfast, easyHotel guest accommodation reports strong momentum in early bookings and looks set for a successful first quarter in operation.

easyHotel guest accommodation offers simple and comfortable rooms and is primarily aimed at budget-conscious tourists.

The team bringing the easyHotel brand to Ireland is David Crowe from Holywood and Kevin Baird from Belfast. Speaking of their new venture, Kevin Baird says that with so much new accommodation coming onto the market in recent months, easyHotel guest accommodation offers a modern and highly affordable alternative.

“Belfast is filled with historic pubs, fine restaurants and cultural hotspots – from museums to architecture,” he added. “Our aim is to champion tourism in Belfast by offering a central base for tourists to explore the city.”

Located a short distance from Belfast city hall, the easyHotel has four floors, free wifi throughout and a range of rooms including family rooms, double rooms, superior rooms and facilities to cater for those with disabilities. Attached to the entrance is Coffee 24 Howard Street, a new coffee shop, which offers a range of coffee, sandwiches, cakes and pastries.

Guests who book their rooms online can avoid normal check-in procedures and can use their smartphones to unlock their rooms.

Kevin added: “We’re off to a fantastic start. With strong early momentum in bookings, it will be exciting to see how we will progress from here. Hopefully this is only the beginning for the easyHotel brand in Ireland.”
