Caffè Vergnano partners with Lottie for decadent coffee inspired evening

To celebrate its arrival on the island of Ireland, Caffè Vergnano partnered with the restaurant Lottie in East Belfast to host hospitality representatives and media for a sensory taste experience.

Attendees enjoyed a bespoke five-course menu featuring a fusion of Caffè Vergnano inspired dishes paired with signature coffee serves and cocktails. The menu was not only based on the unique taste of Caffè Vergnano’s blend, but encompass the brands core values of family, sustainability, quality and community.

The family-owned coffee brand which launched across Ireland and Northern Ireland last year is headquartered in Turin, Italy. It is one of the oldest coffee roasters in Italy with roots dating back to 1882.  Its product offering consists of truly premium, high-quality coffee that represents Italian heritage and authenticity at its best.

Speaking about the celebratory event at Lottie, Niall Kidd Coffee Business Manager, Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Lottie to host this incredible celebration of Caffè Vergnano. Having only launched across the Island of Ireland last year we have been blown away by the response to the brand having 30 premium hospitality venues across Ireland serving our coffee in January 2023.”

Colin McSherry, Guest Chef with Lottie said: “We were honoured to work with the Caffè Vergnano team to create this bespoke menu for the Belfast hospitality sector. Each dish was carefully constructed drawing on the Caffè Vergnano blends and its incredible 140 year legacy in Italy.”

Caffè Vergnano is focused on the hospitality market, working with premium hotels and restaurants to provide traditional espresso in various blends and formats such as beans, roast and ground coffee and single portioned pods.

The brand launched last year across the Ireland of Ireland after Coca-Cola HBC’s acquired the rights to supply Caffè Vergnano in all 29 of its business units.
