BaoBun opens first table service restaurant in East Belfast

Much-loved Northern Irish street food chain BaoBun  has opened its first table service restaurant in East Belfast.

The brand, started by hospitality entrepreneur Bonnie Turkington, took off in Belfast in 2017 and has rapidly grown into a highly respected brand across the country.

Selling Independent Taiwanese street food, it also now has locations south of the border – with three locations in Belfast on Botanic Avenue, the Lisburn Road and Ballyhackamore.

In November, BaoBun announced their plans to open a sit-in experience in their licenced Ballyhackamore branch with the expansion offering all their classic street food menu items with a twist.

BaoBun Deluxe is described it as the “same food only served differently”.

“You can now even mix and share your food,” they added.

The restaurant, which is fully licensed, opened on January 26.
