McKeever Hotel Group makes two strategic appointments to its senior leadership team
The McKeever Hotel Group has made two strategic appointments to its senior leadership team to support the company’s accelerated growth trajectory and expanding operational scale.
Catherine Ashman has been appointed to the newly created role of Head of Marketing & Sales and will be responsible for driving brand performance, demand generation and revenue growth across McKeever’s seven-strong hotel portfolio. She will provide strategic and operational leadership across Marketing and Sales, ensuring an aligned approach to brand, marketing investment, sales performance and commercial outcomes.
With over 10 years’ experience in strategic marketing, Catherine has worked globally with brands including Rolex, Estee Lauder Companies, Coca Cola and Tom Ford.
A graduate in Communications, Advertising and Marketing from the Ulster University Catherine also gained a wealth of experience with marketing agencies across NI, Dublin, England and Sydney.
As a passionate advocate of staff development, Catherine is actively involved as a coach and mentor in the ‘McKeever Academy’ – an in-house junior management training program, developed by the McKeever family.
Elaine Harkin has been appointed Strategic Revenue Manager for McKeever Hotels, providing group-wide strategic leadership for revenue performance, with responsibility for shaping and influencing total revenue outcomes across the business.
This newly created role focuses on commercial strategy, forecasting, budget influence, and performance governance, ensuring revenue decisions are aligned to business objectives, profitability targets, and long-term growth plans.
A graduate in Business Information Management from Leeds Metropolitan University, Elaine joined McKeever Hotels in 2024 as Group Revenue Manager, prior to which she was General Manager of Holiday Inn Express Derry / Londonderry. She has also held managerial roles for a range of leading hotels including AC Hotel Belfast, The Merchant Hotel, Belfast, Marine Hotel Troon, and City Hotel Derry.
