Chris McClurg to host two-night takeover at Neighbourhood Café
Award-winning chef Chris McClurg is bringing his creative flair to Belfast this April, teaming up with the much-loved Neighbourhood Café for an exclusive two-night culinary event that’s set to kick off the café’s brand-new Neighbourhood Nights series.
Taking place on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th April from 7pm to 10pm, this special collaboration promises an unforgettable five-course dining experience, blending McClurg’s bold, refined cooking with playful brunch-inspired twists straight from the heart of Neighbourhood’s kitchen.
Held at the café’s intimate Donegall Street location, the event is priced at £85 per person and includes welcome drinks, snacks, and a menu that reimagines familiar flavours in inventive new ways.
Guests can look forward to dishes such as bite-sized eggs benedict, crispy kedgeree arancini, cornflake fried chicken, and a clever spin on the classic vegetable roll. The show-stopping main will be a full Irish breakfast-inspired, nose-to-tail pork dish, followed by a shared dessert of Tirami-choux and a pour-over affogato to end the night on a sweet note.
In a statement, the team at Neighbourhood Café said:
“We are delighted to announce a very special Neighbourhood Nights in collaboration with the extremely talented @chrismcclurg. An intimate evening of beautiful food & drink to be enjoyed in our home on 61 Donegall Street.”
The collaboration not only marks a culinary highlight for spring but also launches what promises to be an exciting new series of guest chef events at Neighbourhood.
Tickets are limited and selling fast. Guests are reminded that no refunds will be issued after 12 noon on Tuesday, 22nd April.
