About Belfast Whiskey Social:

Belfast Whiskey Social first launched in 2016. The founder, Andrew Ure, with a background in events management, and already spearheading whisky and gin festivals around the UK, couldn’t believe that a city of half a million people on an island whose whiskey industry was experiencing such growth, didn’t have its own whiskey festival! Thankfully he took the leap and Belfast Whiskey Social was born– the first whiskey festival in Belfast!

This year marks an exciting new chapter as Andrew joins forces with his brother, David Ure, with the opening the Wee Whisky Shop, in Linlithgow, Scotland. As such, they have undergone a rebrand and restructure and this year also sees the launch of the inaugural Linlithgow Whisky Festival 2025. To help them on these new whisky ventures, Timna Mall has joined as shop manager, as well as taking the lead in the organisation of the whisk(e)y festivals.
