Extra tickets released for Wine In The Dark Experience

Designed to challenge the senses, dispel wine myths and unlock a new appreciation for high quality, affordable wine, tickets for the exclusive Vino Sensoria pop-up sold out in just 48 hours.

Last remaining  100 tickets are scheduled to go on sale this Friday 18 October.

In response to overwhelming demand, Lidl Northern Ireland has announced the release of 100 additional tickets for the exclusive ‘Vino Sensoria’ event, coming to Belfast this November.

The initial tickets for the unique, sensory wine tasting experience, sold out in just 48 hours. A limited release of remaining tickets will be available for purchase on Friday 18 October, with 100% of sales going to Lidl Northern Ireland’s charity partner.

Taking place between November 22 to 24 at Belfast Exposed, Donegall Street, ‘Vino Sensoria’ offers aspiring wine connoisseurs a truly unique experience that delights all the senses.

Hosted by Lidl Northern Ireland’s Master of Wine, Richard Bampfield, the immersive pop-up event invites guests to put their taste buds to the ultimate test – completely in the dark. He said:

“The overwhelming demand for tickets, which sold out in just 48 hours, demonstrates the enthusiasm of the Northern Ireland public for unique and innovative wine experiences, as well as the demand for high quality, affordable wines.

“The aim of Vino Sensoria is to dispel some of the myths surrounding the buying and serving of wine. By tasting in total darkness with no distractions, tasters can concentrate fully on the wine in the glass and reach a better understanding of their own tastes and palate.

“I look forward to welcoming wine enthusiasts of Northern Ireland to Vino Sensoria, where they are guaranteed to leave with an appreciation of spectacular wine selections, just in time for the festive season.”

During the event, guests will be captivated by the thrilling experience of the Discombobulator, where their senses will be heightened as they embark on a journey to deconstruct the traditional process of visually appraising wines and engage in a scent safari designed to tantalise the tastebuds.

As they move into the shadows of the Tasting Room, guests will be immersed in darkness, where their taste buds will be awakened and perceptions challenged. Under the expert guidance of Richard Bampfield MW, attendees will sip from a carefully curated selection of sparkling, red, white, and rosé wines by Lidl Northern Ireland.

The experience culminates in the Lumina room, where wines are revealed, and visitors can select their favourite tipple to enjoy.

The second release of limited tickets for Vino Sensoria are available to purchase at vinosensoria.com from 10am on Friday 18 October. Tickets are £12 (excluding booking fee) and 100% of ticket sales will be donated to Lidl Northern Ireland’s charity partner.
