Brewing giant announces return of ‘World’s Strongest Beer’
Scottish brewing giant Brew Dog has announced the return of the ‘World’s Strongest Beer’.
Strength In Numbers is has an eye-watering ABV of 57.8%, the same as a cask-strength whisky.
The Ellon-based firm teamed up with German brewer Schorschbräu to create the limited run, with the previous batch, launched in September 2020, selling out in just under 24 hours.
Priced at £28.95 for 40ml, the special brew is exclusively available through BrewDog.com.
A spokesperson said: “The time has come to pen another chapter in this epic saga. This time, it’s one of camaraderie as we join forces with Schorschbräu for the ultimate collaboration.
“The result is unlike anything you’ve had before or are likely to have again.”

BrewDog has a long history of brewing high ABV beer. Its most famous is Tactical Nuclear Penguin, an imperial stout that clocked in at 32%.
It also created Sink The Bismark (41%) and End of History at 55%.
Meanwhile, co-founder James Watt recently announced that the brewing giant is set to open a new beer hotel in the Scottish capital this autumn.
