75 Jobs at risk at Titanic Belfast visitor centre

Amid the fall in visitor numbers during the COVID-19 pandemic, 75 jobs at Titanic Belfast are believed to be under threat.

The attraction is also home to many conferences and events which have also not been possible during the crisis.

In January, Titanic Belfast had announced plans for the creation of 80 new fixed-term contracts jobs.

The BBC now reports that the company has started a consultation about potential redundancies at the attraction.

It’s understood a further 11 job are under threat at TBL, an events company linked to Titanic Belfast and the SS Nomadic.

Titanic Belfast is due to reopen on August 1st.
