Catering firm, Sodexo, has signed a \u00a36m contract with the new Windsor Park stadium in Belfast.<\/p>\n
The company will provide food and beverage, retail and hospitality services at the venue as part of a five-year deal. It will also sell conference and event facilities through its Sodexo Prestige Venues and Events division.<\/p>\n
The national football stadium has been enlarged following redevelopment works last year and now boasts more than 18,000 seats and four main function suites as well as 10 executive boxes, a museum, event spaces a press room and a players\u2019 lounge. All of these facilities will come under Sodexo\u2019s remit.<\/p>\n
David Trotter, account director at Sodexo Sports and Leisure, says this is a fantastic opportunity for Sodexo to take its hospitality and events experience to Northern Ireland:<\/p>\n
