UWM unveils five fantastic flavours
Following the success of Whitley Neill London Dry, Quince and Rhubarb and Ginger gin, United Wine Merchants is delighted to announce the introduction of new gin flavours, Raspberry and Blood Orange.
Commenting on the launch of the new flavours, Emma Haughian, brand manager at United Wines commented: “Riding on the wave of global popularity that gin is experiencing and building on Northern Ireland consumers’ appetite for flavoured gins, we’re pleased to offer flavour innovation with Whitley Neill Raspberry and Blood Orange gin. Emma indicated that expanding UWM’s portfolio while meeting consumer demand was an important consideration for the supplier:
“These new products are not only attractive to off-trade customers, but will also be a welcome addition to on-trade, especially with the growing cocktail culture,” she added.
Harnessing the iconic scents of Sicily, the Blood Orange Gin offers a refreshing, intense, orange aroma, hints of liquorice and coriander, for a well-rounded finish. The Raspberry Gin celebrates the flavoursome fruit of the British countryside and delivers an invigorating tartness from Scottish raspberries, complemented perfectly by undertones of liquorice and coriander, for a well-rounded finish. For the prettiest G&T, mix it with a smattering of raspberries plus the slightly tart Lamb & Watt Hibiscus Tonic Water to balance.
Whitley Neill’s Blood Orange Gin and Raspberry Gin are packaged in vibrant glass-bottles, with the bright orange and red glass reflecting the hero ingredients. Bottled at 43% ABV, both are available in a 70cl format.
Launched in 2005, Whitley Neill is an English gin brand inspired by Africa. Its distinctive matte bottled London Dry contains two African botanicals, baobab fruit and cape gooseberries.
